Welcome to The Cute Craft Conversation
A beautiful bouquet of peonies serves as inspo for a cute pattern. My special flowers can now live on forever!
Hello, Friend…
I’m so glad you’re here. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cuppa and lets get cosy with issue #1 of the journal - The Cute Craft Conversation.
Welcome to The Cute Craft Company—a little corner of the internet where handcrafted, intentional, nature-inspired beauty lives and breathes. This space was created for everyday life, for real people, and for anyone craving a softer, more meaningful way of living. Everything you’ll find here is fuelled by love, care, and a belief that beauty doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re someone who feels deeply. Someone who notices the way morning light falls across the kitchen table, who saves meaningful scraps, who wants their home to feel like a hug at the end of a long day. If that sounds like you—then you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
What We’re About
At its heart, The Cute Craft Company is about intentional living.
It’s about choosing with care—what we bring into our homes, how we spend our time, and what we give our energy to.
Our creations are handcrafted slowly and thoughtfully, inspired by nature’s textures, colours, and rhythms. They’re designed to feel grounding, comforting, and quietly joyful. Not just objects, but pieces with a purpose—items that support everyday rituals and help turn ordinary moments into something meaningful.
This isn’t about trends or picture-perfect spaces. It’s about warmth. Soul. Feeling at home in your own life.
How It All Started
Like many good things, this journey began with a small idea.
I’ve always loved making things—art, crafts, little details that carry meaning. But over time, that love evolved into something deeper: a desire to create art with a purpose. Pieces that weren’t just pretty, but intentional. Pieces that helped people slow down, breathe, and reconnect.
Then came a season that changed everything for all of us—COVID.
Suddenly, the world got quieter. Our homes became our whole universe. And in that stillness, many of us learned something powerful: our spaces matter. The way our homes feel matters. The pace we live at matters.
We were taught—sometimes gently, sometimes painfully—to slow down.
To be present.
To be intentional.
To notice what truly matters.
For me, that was the seed. A realisation that our homes can be more than places we pass through—they can be havens. Sanctuaries. Safe places that hold us when the world feels heavy. The past few years have included renovating our forever home (lots of DIY…) all the while, holding onto this idea - like a precious seed waiting for the right moment to germinate!
That moment has finally arrived and I am so excited to see The Cute Craft Company grow - a lesson learnt from adversity. This is my way of fulfilling the desire to create things that help turn homes into sanctuaries and everyday life into something a little more sacred - I cannot wait to see The Cute Craft Company flourish and bloom - enhancing the lives of everyone it nurtures.
Intentional Living, Not Perfect Living
Let’s talk honestly for a moment.
This space is not about creating a flawless life. We’re not chasing aesthetic perfection, curated chaos, or an endless cycle of comparison. We’re not here for FOMO or the pressure to keep up.
Life isn’t a magazine spread—and it was never meant to be.
Life is messy.
It’s loud.
It’s spontaneous and sometimes exhausting.
It’s muddy shoes by the door, half-finished projects, laughter that comes out of nowhere, and plans that change last minute. It’s imperfect—and it’s beautiful because of that.
Intentional living doesn’t mean controlling everything. It means choosing what matters. It means letting go of the noise and focusing on the bigger picture.
For us, that picture includes:
Family and connection
Spirituality and inner grounding
Creativity - learning about the Creator through examining creation
The simple joys—morning rituals, handmade objects, moments of stillness
It’s about creating a life that feels aligned, not impressive.
Making Our Homes a Sanctuary
Our homes hold our stories. They witness our quiet mornings and our loudest celebrations. They deserve care.
At The Cute Craft Company, we believe small, intentional choices can completely shift how a space feels. A handmade piece. A thoughtful detail. A reminder to pause.
Your home doesn’t need to be perfect—it needs to feel yours.
A sanctuary isn’t about size, style, or budget. It’s about atmosphere. It’s about how you feel when you walk through the door. Safe. Calm. Held.
That’s what inspires everything we create.
Crafted With Love and Care
Every piece you’ll find here is made slowly and thoughtfully. There’s love in the process—real hands, real time, real intention.
We believe in:
Quality over quantity
Meaning over mass production
Connection over consumption
These creations are meant to live with you, to become part of your everyday rhythm, and to grow in meaning over time.
An Invitation to Slow Down
If there’s one thing I hope this space gives you, it’s permission.
Permission to slow down.
Permission to live intentionally.
Permission to let go of the pressure to have it all figured out.
You don’t need a perfect plan. You just need presence.
This is a space where we honour the bigger picture—the things that matter most—and celebrate a life imperfect, yet lived with joy and heart.
Join the Journal
If this message resonates with you, I’d love to stay connected.
Our journal (called the Cute Craft Conversation) is a gentle extension of this space—a place where I share reflections on intentional living, creativity, home, spirituality, and the beauty of everyday moments. Think of it as a quiet note from an old friend, landing in your inbox now and then (sometimes with freebies - yay!).
No noise. No rush. Just thoughtful words, inspiration, and reminders to live with purpose.
You’re warmly invited to sign up and be part of this growing community.
Thank you for being here. Truly.
I hope this space feels like a deep breath, a warm cup of tea, and a reminder that you’re allowed to live slowly, imperfectly, and with intention.
With love and gratitude,
Dee, The Cute Craft Company
